One week on the island today and it was finally not so ungodly hot, so Indy made his first trip to the beach. I was prepared, having last night taken Indy to PetSmart for a flexi-leash and doggie shampoo for a beach bath should he happen to love the water. He didn’t run into the water like so many beach dogs, but nor did he run aay from it like our last corgi, Shelby. I’d call it a resounding success for his first outing, and he ended it in a manner so befitting a corgi, by making friends out of strangers 🙂
