Catching Up

On Tuesday Indy frapped for the first time since he has been with us! He was exploring the dog park as I piled up some fallen branches to assist our crew here. I am not sure what started it, but he got excited as I was tossing sticks on the pile and started running mad circles around the dog park before grabbing sticks from the pile and scattering them around. Not helpful, but too darn funny!

Tuesday afternoon we drove to the Savannah airport to pick up my husband Ben who was flying in from Ohio (and meeting Indy for the first time). Indy was very well behaved in the car, but panted the entire, the way he seems to express anxiety. Ben and Indy became good buddies pretty quickly and Indy’s pack has grown to four 🙂

A trainer from Savannah has been found for Indy, and she’ll also be training young Rowan he is being fostered nearby. We had still not seen resource guarding behaviors in Indy so she spoke with SECR and Indy;s first trainer for more info on that. We also wanted to address is anxiety in the car, how to meet other dogs, and his hesitancy to interact with one particular neighbor (he’s a dog guy) while having issues with no one else.
